Sounds like a rotation. The paper coming out of the copier is the same orientation as the paper in the document feeder right? If not, the CVT glass is the issue since every other component is the same....

You can scan to a folder via SMB or FTP, you have options of tiff>pdf>jpg formats. Your computer/server/software has to handle the files from there.
