Has anyone ran into any issues with network scanning when the target is an EMC Isilon NAS. We have a large number of Xerox printers and so far have only been able to get the 5150's to scan to the Isilon. We currently have a ticket open with EMC support but was wondering if anyone else has had issues. We previously scanned to an EMC Celerra and did not have any issues. The specific model we are troubleshooting now is a Workcentre 5335. We get a 027-529 error which we can't find a description for and the only hit on it on Xerox support site is anothe user that had isues with the Isilon but there was no resolution in teh discussion. I am our storage admin so have limited knowledge of these printers but have been told it has the latest version of firmware. any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Calls to Xerox support have not gotten anywhere other than they are not aware of any issues with isilon. Thanks in advance

Constant duplex paper jam - workcentre 3220
My WorkCentre 3220 printer is constantly experiencing paper jam while duplex printing. I have to open and close the door to bypass it. I have no idea why this is happenning but is becoming harder to manage. Any tips?

Template pool refresh times? (7655/7232/7535)
When I first set our machines up, I used SMB for scanning to network but it was a bit too "talky" for our network so I moved to FTP. At some point we had a security audit and I had to enable security measures for all accounts, even the one used for scanning. This included account lockouts, though I have it set to auto unlock after 30 minutes. Occasionally I have been getting calls about scans failing, and the user account would be locked in Active Directory. In looking at the security logs, it appeared it was having password failures around midnight and I then checked Template Pool Setup and noticed that it was still set to SMB there and likely had the wrong password.
The same setting was on the other 6 machines, and so 7 machines trying the wrong password would definitely lock the account. But I've been getting calls throughout the day (and not all the time, though users may not be reporting it to me) like around 9 AM, and again around 4 PM. Under General it's set to refresh at 00:00, however we don't even use a template server. We strictly use local templates on the machine (though I can't remove server info on the Template Pool Setup screen without it asking for a hostname). At any rate, I just want to make sure that changing the login info on the Template Pool Setup screen will definitely resolve the issue.

I am experiencing the same issues. The printer turns off the ethernet conection after a few minutes ..and I cant ping it. I have followed some other people advice on the inetrenet such as disable PoE on the port but no joy. The NI card has been replaced by the Xerox Engineer but didnt make any difference. I have tried to use DHCP (auto IP) and even static assigned but no joy. I think this must be a known isssue. Pls help

I have WiFi turned off, and this is still and issue. You cannot ping the printer in standby mode.

Unfortunately this product doesn't have a job build option for scan to email or network. Your customer will need to make copies of the bound documents first then scan them through the document feeder.

There may be newer equipment that can do what you need, but this device was developed long ago, released in 2008 and no longer sold after 2010 so it is not likely to have new firmware.

I would suggest that you review the Xerox 5335 Support site solutions and see if they can help identify your issue.
I searched on that site for scan to network folderand there were a few different solutions that may help as you can see in the following screen cap.
You may consider contacting the support center and request 2nd level customer support by calling 1-800-821-2797. They can further troubleshoot and recommend next steps to a resolution.

If your device is displaying the message 'Duplex Jam 1 Open/Close Door Message: Paper Jam in the Duplex Area' please check this solution 1: Clear the Paper Jam from the Duplex Unit Area. It contains several steps and images displaying how to clear the paper jam. Check to make sure there aren't any slivers of paper from a previous jam that have not been removed correctly. This could also be causing the issue.
The product knowledge base has a few other steps to check out.
- Make sure the paper is within specifications
- Make sure the paper tray is loaded correctly
- Power the Machine Off, Wait 20 Seconds, Then Power On

Documate 152 scanning documents then giving error message, (Win8)
Hello,
I have just upgraded my clients to windows 8 from XP and the two workstations that use the Xerox 152 are not working. Upon hard restarting the device I am able to scan any documents in the tray, given an error message upon completion and not shown any of the documents on the computer. Error message is (A problem has prevented the document from being scanned. Please try again or for more information see the help section)
I originally installed using the drivers from the CD but was told from another admin via the internet to use the drivers and software from the Xerox website.
Downloaded and installed - DM152_4.6.10.1015.EN.msi
as well as
OT4.6.1913.12093.EN.msi
Any advice or workarounds? Is this a common issue or am I the only one?

This is actually a known issue, removing the driver completely and reinstalling it usually works so I do suggest you try that.

Xerox 3325 can't scan A4
If I scan an A4 (paper size) using DADF, it crops/losts about 0,5 cm top and bottom margins (pdf file). If I scan without ADF, it crops/losts a few less of about 0,5cm on the bottom margin.

I have windows 7, If xerox 3325 loses scan id (not avaliable or id avaliable but can't connect), I log off windows and log on again, then "network pc" works.

Document feeder down only copy mode on 6180MFP
Hello everybody,
I have an Xerox 6180MFP and I have a problem with the document feeder but only in copy mode !
When I charge sheets on the document feeder, in copy mode, the scanner uses the glass nevertheless... The switch isactuated.
Also, when I'm in fax mode, the machine scan the papers in the document feeder.
I have bought this printer recently and I install this at my home. When I bought it, I seem to have tried to copy with the document feeder and I had not had any problems. Since I did the firmware update with the last one on Xerox website, is that it could come from it?
The problem can't be physical, I think !
