I would suggest that you review the following solutions to see if they can help.

 

 

  • If you try to auto reduce the image to a smaller paper size, is the image still cut off. This could also help isolate the problem.

"Solution : Select Print as Image From the Acrobat Product" => There are no problems in printing files.

"Solution : Select Copy Features" => I think the printer can't print without margins, then it will be 'correct' to cut the original paper's margins. All screenshots are from the pc software and I can select scan size when I use flatbed. The preview scanned image is already different from the original.

 

If I try to copy (default configs):

xeroxCopy2.png

 

As in the ScanAssistant preview (screenshots), dadf crops more than flatbed.
Original: 1cm ("row" 's height), flatbed: 0,8cm (shifted) , dadf: 0,6cm.
This happens in the bottom margin too

Unfortunately this problem did not get the solution we wish, the only conclusion we could get is that it was not a problem of the machine. So what changed, the client changed is type of service maintaining the same ISP, before he had only phone and Internet (ADSL) and now he has tv, phone and Internet (ADSL). After this change we have tested the machine and she received faxes with success whatever the timing we define on fax definitions. Anyway thanks for trying to help on this issue.

Xerox 7535 Scanning to email

I have a user that tells me that when scanning to email, the addresses themselves do not appear on the scanner. The only way to get them back is a reboot. Has anyone else had this issue or know a way to resolve it? 

 

According to the user there has been no network or power issue at all. This occurs at random times during the day.

Hi,

 

If Software Version is below 061.121.222.06508, first try to upgrade to this version or later as there is a known problem with address on older firmware.

 

061.121.222.06508 is available on Xerox.com. Search for your Xerox model and you will easily find it.

 

If Software is at 061.121.222.06508 or later, I suggest to a Altboot as there is maybe corruption in the firmware. Call Support to place a service call.

Hi,

 

The error code you gived is related to the scanner. It can be as simple as a bad connection with some cables. But it can go as far as to replace multiple board and to reload the software.

 

If you have a contract or warranty with Xerox, think no further and call Support. A Technical Service Representative need to go onsite to help you.

 

There is maybe more error codes underneath this problem that need to be taken care of before fixing the 62-461.

Thanks for the reply

 

I am aware of these steps for fixing the paper jam.  The issue is the there is *always* a paper jam when sending a job to the printer...once the jam is fixed it finishes the job, but on the next job, first page, paper jam again...

Hello 1yen,

 

Thank you for your patience. You have checked the known issues and they do not resolve your problem, I have re-searched our internal technician forums and also found no match to your issue. 

 

This would indicate to me that the service technician is not having problems resolving this problem so If you have tried the known user solutions then it may be an part that requires a service technician to replace like a faulty sensor or switch by the door etc.

 

I would suggest contacting technical support by phone or using the link already provided= Fast Track to the Expert

We have a Workcentre 7435 and have the scans running to a pc on the domain that then shares it to other people in the building. Everyone is working fine but one person. One person can not access the folder. He can see other shared folders on the network but not the one he needs. I have looked and he has permission to access the folder. When we try to access the folder we get

 

 

"\\XEROXSCAN is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this netowrk resource. Contact the adminisrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions."

 

"The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to."

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

7755 Printing from Remote Desktop not printing on correct paper

We have a 7755. 

We have two laptops that login into site locatoin accros the US.  The laptops are running Windows 8.1 and the sites are running Windows 7.  When Printing, they are printing on a specific type of paper.  This will work for a few days and then stop working.  When they select the tray to print from, it just prints on plain white paper instead of the paper selected in tray 2. 

 

Any help would be appricaited.

Scan to email transfer issue WC 3550

We have a WorkCentre 3550 and I've noticed that the transfer time to send an email after scanning has increased in the last few weeks. Sometimes even over 10 minutes for a document less than 1 MB. All seems well from a network point of view. Is there anything on the unit that I can check to resolve this issue? My users are getting annoyed.

Is there any software you can download to convert a CVS file into a XPB2 file, so that I can import into my personal address book and not have to retype all my contacts? Supposedly one should be able to import a CVS file when you do the following: (I highlighted in red)

 

Manage Fax Phonebook Preferences

To set up fax phonebook preferences:

  1. On the Advanced tab, click Preferences.
  2. Click Fax> Setup.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To locate and select a HidePersonal Phonebook, click the Select File button.

      A personal phonebook is a private phonebook that you maintain and edit on your computer. You can create a personal phonebook or import a .csv or .txt file.If a phonebook does not currently exist on your computer, the print driver creates a personal phonebook for you.

      To enter contact information, do one of the following:

      • For a .txt file, separate the contact name and fax number with commas.
      • For a .csv file, enter the contact name in the first column and the fax number in the second column. The printerrecognizes the second row in the .csv file as the first address book entry.

Phaser Mfp 3300 Error SMTP with Gmail aspmx.l.google.com

Hello,

 

I've been using the scan to email feature for almost 2 years but last week suddenly sttoped working, it says SMTP sending error, I have tried almos everything including the firmware update, I changed the email and used a yahoo mail but did not work, I want to clear that it was working well until last week,  the email account works fine aswell. Xerox local support number phone are not working and this is getting worse, the printer and scanner (to USB) is ok just this issue with scan to email trough gmail.

We have an HP 400MFP that is prving not compatible with voip through a Cisco SPA122.

Any way to find info on using our 3635MFP for this ?

 

We could also access our WC4150  if the 3635MFP is not a solution.
