Hi Cheryl,
Thanks for your reply.
I eventually found the issue was Windows Defender firewall which blocks "Network Scanning" now by default in Windows 10 which prev didn't.. So emabled network scanning and now all working ok.
https://technoresult.com/enable-network-scanning-in-windows-defender-on-windows-10/
To enable network scanning, simply open a PowerShell (Admin) window and enter the following command:
Set-MpPreference –DisableScanningNetworkFiles 0
Then press (Enter) on your keyboard and exit the power shell & reboot your PC.
Note:- To disable set the value back to 1
The below link will show you also how to do it via (Group Policy) as well as the Power Shell.

I have setup the 3345 to scan to a file server using sftp but get the error: "file exists or the failure is unspecified". There is no error code.
The 3345 is at software version 60.006.06.000. The ip address of the printer is 192.168.2.103. In the Address Book Scan To settings are: Protocol sftp, Address type: IPv4 Address, IP Address:Port: 192 168 2 30 22, Document Path: /media/toshiba/Public/xerox, login name: pi
On the server, the file permissions are:
pi@Zdrive:~ $ ls -l /media/toshiba/Public
drwxrwxrwx 1 pi pi 248 Jul 27 13:33 xerox
On another linux server I can successfully transfer files to the file server using sftp:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sftp 192.168.2.30
pi@192.168.2.30's password:
Connected to 192.168.2.30.
sftp> put deleteme /media/toshiba/Public/xerox
Uploading deleteme to /media/toshiba/Public/xerox
deleteme 100% 9 3.6KB/s 00:00
The file arrives on the file server:
pi@Zdrive:~ $ ls -l /media/toshiba/Public/xerox
total 1
-rwxrwxrwx 1 pi pi 9 Jul 27 13:31 deleteme
drwxrwxrwx 1 pi pi 0 Jul 27 11:07 test
Any help would be appreciated
I have an XEROX WorkCentre 7835, which wastes a huge amount of paper with error reports, especially with SMTP transfer error reports.
I found a 2014 thread about something like that, but I can't find where to disable this report. This case has a link in the administration manual, I search for: reports, smtp, smtp reports and in none of these cases do I find the option to disable this function.
Could anyone help?
Hi,
For disabling Error Sheets, at the machine control panel login as Admin, then go to Tools>Service Settings>Job Sheets>Disabled.

Good Morning,
I am having an issue with our AltaLink C8035 deleting scan jobs.
We are using Office 365 as our email provider.
I set up a new shared mailbox so all scans come from the same place despite what office you are in. I made the setting changes in the email setup of our machine. I made sure to copy all the settings from our AltaLink B8045 that is in my office that works perfectly.
I can successfully do a "test configuration" email that gets sent to me every time. But when the users are at the machime, the emails never get to them. The machine just shows "deleting job" on the screen and thats it.
Any help would be appreciated.
Hello,
When scanning to email using the double-sided scan setting, one side scans as normal but the other side is an all-black page.
I cleaned the scanning glass and also wiped down the ADF and cleaned the Document Glass and the Document Cover. I also cleaned the CVT Glass and the DADF film on the Document Cover.
I pulled out and reseated the drum cartridges and cleaned the printhead lenses.
I did this while the copier was turned off and unplugged.
I attached a test scan of the issue I am having. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hi,
It is important to say what side is with the issue. Make a copy from platen, one from DADF 1 side only and one from DADF 2 sided.
Gabi
This message cannot be cleared from the machine. I cannot scan at all, either from the machine, nor from the pc.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello
We're getting the message "Exceeded the size limit for scan to email" while trying to scan to email and although we have changed the scan quality, document type, etc.. nothing seems to help, is it possible to increase this limit?
For other Xerox models the instructions on how to change this limit are online but can't find how to change it for WorkCentre 6515, do you have any idea on how to change?
Thank for your help.
Hi,
Acces the machine EWS, login as admin and check next steps:
Gabi
Wow how did I miss that?
Thanks Gaby
Hello andie42,
Have you tried faxing a different fax number that you know is able to receive faxes? Have you contacted the owners of the fax number you are trying to reach to know if they are able to receive faxes? Have you tried plugging an analog phone into your fax line to see if you get a dial tone?
TENGO ESTE ERROR 062-360 DICE QUEE S ALGO DE LA POSICION DEL CARRO COMO LA CORRIJO?

Hi Maineguy,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure that your printer is upgraded to the current firmware. If that does not help you can try cloning the working printer to the printer with the error. You can find information on cloning HERE. If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
Hi,
First of all, this Forum is in English only, so use English please!
Your issue can be from the scanner motor rubber that could be detached (see picture below) causing abnormal carriage movement. You can try to stick back with some glue the rubber to the motor. You can find the scanner motor to the back of the scanner under the cover.
