I have a workcentre 5865. once i tried to start yesterday it is just getting on. Scanner & all other sounds are comming. There is no user interface screen on the display & it's remain white. The indicator on the SBC PWB shows code number 9. I tried pinging it's ip address in a while, it is unreachable. Please anyone help me.

The machine I am working on does not have the option you suggested. It has Reset. There is no place to "save as Default". I loaded version 101.001.089.22600 still looking for a solution.
C8045 and C8070 do have this option but not the C8030
My previous answer was for C405.
Installed 6027 last week and have attempted to update firmware 3 times. Firmware downloads, printer restarts, but does not update. Xeroc support says they will siend technician on site but have not heard back from them in 5 days.
Any suggestions?
I have searched for documentation relating to duplex scanning on 6027.
Does 6027 support duplex scanning to SMB?
If so, what are the settings for this?

We own a number of the Xerox 3125 documate scanners. They work great. However, some of them are failing with the same issue - they begin scanning images and saving with a light blue background. Color or B&W scans. We have tried on Windows 7 and Windows 10. Complete re-install of scanning software does not cure it. If we move the scanner to a different workstation, the problem follows the scanner. We have had this problem on scanners that are 4+ years old, and a few that are less than a year old. So far, the only solution is to buy a new one. Is this a failure of the scanning lamp?
I should add that the original documents all have a white background.

The scanning glass is spotless. The blue tint is a uniform hue across the entire page. A dirty glass would produce streaks.

Cheryl - This is a Xerox 3125 documate scanner, not a printer. When you scan a page with a white background, the digital image it creates, whether it be a PDF, JPEG, etc the background is blue. This is not a result of bad printing. the digital image on the screen is blue, it is part of the final result of the output of the desktop scanner. The link you posted is for troubleshooting printing output problems. Thanks.

your support is closer to not being that other facts. i have been years in attemping to update WS 6505DN firmware and software the Windows 10-64 with no support and aide. please advise and link the software needed. Including the uninstall of wondows 8 software. As of now i have NO Fax function. Windows 10 OS does not have software. kendixon69@msn.com
I also have problem with printer and scanner. The printer not work properly and the scanner not working at all.
example, if i want to print 1 page, most of cases, print 10 pages with small symbols & letters.
The scanner not working at all, on macOS Catalina !
I don't want to dowgrade the macOS for make the *multifaction printer to work.

Configuring the Sounds at the Control Panel
To configure the sounds at the control panel:
1. At the control panel touch screen, touch Device, then touch Tools.
2. Touch Device Settings→General→Sounds.
3. For Enable Sounds, select the toggle button.
Note: A check mark on the toggle button indicates Enabled.
4. To adjust the sound volume for an event, move the appropriate volume slider control as needed.
5. Touch OK.

1. In the Embedded Web Server, click Properties→General Setup→Status LED & Sounds.
2. To enable sounds, select Enable Sounds.

the problem was the new software is different, you need to update it. what I did is I update the one printer that works then I clone it with the one that does not work.
