Completed (Error) 033-545
I keep getting this error. Fax sometimes, work going out. Never coimng in.
Any thoughts?
Re: Completed (Error) 033-545
033-545 T0 Timeout RAP
033-545 The remote machine might not be a facsimile, or it is not in the facsimile mode.
Procedure
Perform the steps that follow:
1. Advise the customer to check the address number and whether the remote party is a fax
machine.
So, go to the MFP and login as admin, then select Device > General > Sounds > Fax processing Tones and crank it up. Send a fax. If you here a person cursing and swearing, it wasn't a fax you sent to. If an operator states the line isn't valid or is no longer in service, it isn't a fax. If it all seems like fax sounds, there is either a line issue or a settings/compatibility issue (VOIP/FOIP) Also FOIP
If you are having an email issue that started 08/10/2018 see here
It appears that TWC has killed off the old Roadrunner servers in the last few hours.
So if your printer is set to use an smtp server of SMTP-server.<this varies dependant on location>.rr.com on port 25
Try first changing it to Mail.TWC.com on port 587
Don't change anything else, just attempt to send an email.

Are you running Windows 7 64 bit opperating system or Windows 10?
How to combine multiple PDF scans into one single PDF file?
I've searched for a solution but have not been able to figure out how I can save several scans into a single PDF file. People have mentioned a tab that mentions "assembly" but I see no option anywhere to enable this on my 3215. I would like to be able to send a single PDF file to recipients instead of several separate files.
Re: How to combine multiple PDF scans into one single PDF file?
I don't believe the 32XX models can do it on its own, you would have to do so later
Unable to setup scan destination
After installing all drivers, I'm able to print files from my desktop. But I'm unable to scan. When pushing the "Scan to" button and selecting the destination "network", the error message "Unexpected communications error. Cannot browse at this time" occurs.
Re: Getting a vertical white strip during scanning with 3325
Thanks
I'll try to do that.
Nice day
Re: Unable to setup scan destination
Browsing requires the Gateway, DNS to be correct, print does not.
I would suggest just setting up scan to SMB direct instead of browsing anyway, much simpler and faster once it is set up.
Also, you may need a firmware update.
Vulnerabilities in Fax Protocol Let Hackers Infiltrate Networks via Fax Machines
Does anyone know if Xerox is addressing the potential vulnerabilities in fax protocol with hackers? Link below is an artical found about the issue.
Re: Vulnerabilities in Fax Protocol Let Hackers Infiltrate Networks via Fax Machines
This will be posted today if it is not already.
Name: | Fax Vulnerability Affecting HP Printers |
Tracking Number | 2018-002 |

Date of Current Status | 15-Aug-18 |
Next Planned Update | 20-Aug-18 |
Description | Embedded fax may be vulnerable to remote code execution flaws |
What you need to know? | Check Point Research were able to gain access using a phone line to send a fax that could take full control over a Hewlett Packard all-in-one printer, and later spread a payload inside the computer network accessible to the printer. |
What Is Xerox Doing About This? | Xerox is actively assessing the impacts to Xerox products. |
Impact | Preliminary assessments indicate:

What Should You Do? | Although assessed Xerox products are not affected, some best practices are: If FAX functionality is not needed, you may choose to disable this function. If FAX functionality is needed, segmentation of your network will minimize these types of attacks. As always, consult your IT department.

Re: TWAIN/WIA driver of Xerox WorkCentre 6515 is *not* professional
Now, more than 4 months passed by together with a couple of phone calls and emails with Xerox Support. All they said is they look into it. However Xerox keeps silent since a couple of months by now. A status request via email some 4 weeks ago went unanswered. Xerox does not answer.
To all Xerox employees and responsible persons as well as to all members of this community -> THIS IS ABLOSUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR OF XEROX.
How to enable Twain driver settings programmatically
Hi,
I am using a Xerox Documate scanner 3125. Under Scan properties -> driver settings, have an option/checkbox “Make Twain UI topmost” to enable which make the twain message box topmost.
Can some please tel me how to enable this programmatically – I am using vbscript to do this. I could not find any registry settings for this.
Your help would be appreciated.
Re: How to get rid of Product Registration popup screen after driver install?
Good call, just like you, I didn't get the secondary prompt on any of our systems. I didn't see anything on the autoruns list, but you were right. These 2 items in task scheduler appear to be the culprit for this annoyance. It's a shame they built it into the updater, but that was their choice. I'd rather have no updates versus random pop-ups for my users.
Re: Problem fax forwordi to mail - Versalink C70XX
Hello,
I have a somewhat similar problem with a Versalink c7025. I have set up fax forward to email. But the device is only printing the incoming fax, instead of forwarding it to the given e-mail address . There are no errors whatsoever and the printer don't even attempt to forward the fax via e-mail. I've tried everything i could to solve the issue but no avail .
Is it possible that the problem caused by a faulty fax module ? Or is it maybe firmware related ?
Also why was the option to forward fax to smb left out from this device, when it was available on the Xerox WorkCentre 7120 wich is also had a FujiXerox controller ?

Since fax works, I would think it more likely to be firmware related, or that email doesn't actually work so it rolls back to printing the fax. Easily tested of course, send an email from the printer to the address the fax is supposed to go to. If email works and the forward is active but doesn't, you would probably need to wipe and load the firmware fresh with no clone.
Also why was the option to forward fax to smb left out from this device, when it was available on the Xerox WorkCentre 7120 wich is also had a FujiXerox controller ?
I don't know, as far as I know, only VersaLink doesn't have the option, kind of like scan to mail/ store to folder isn't there. I know there is a planned upgrade to the Versalinks, and it is rumored to be Soontm. But I don't know what it entails.
Xerox WorkCenter 3345 is hands when scanning with TWAIN
Hello!
When scanned using TWAIN, sometimes (not always, but often) the scanner driver hangs and stops responding. This occurs when the connection to the scanner is closed. In this case, all the scanned images were successfully received.
I attach a log of interactions with the scanner.
How to solve this problem?
