Nope, it has different names in the industry (Record lengths, Printing Pads, data sets)
Xerox would have you do the 20 copies and add an insert as the job itself, and set it to make 6 copies of that.

Hello,
We have been using the scan to email function of our copier for a long time.Recently, we have replaced a router on our network.Since then, the scan to email function no longer succeeds? However, the SMTP configuration seems to be correct since we are carrying out the SMTP configuration email send test successfully, and we have received the test email. But when we use scan to email, the copier allows us to choose our recipient in the address book of the company, scans the document and opens the progress window. This remains then displayed for several minutes, then the copier prints an error page simply indicating the failure of the SMTP transfer without details?
Do you have an idea ?
Where and how can i found detailing informations about this failure ?
check these settings, it should be configured correctly
DNS
Gateway
time and date
the From email address
and use the internet explorer browser not google chrome "it have issues with passwords fields"
if it is ; then try to upgrade the firmware to thelatest

Hello
Thank you for your reply. I have already checked each of these points. As the email send test works, and our SMTP server is declared by name, DNS is OK. As far as the email sender is concerned, we use an internal SMTP server which does not require any identification and allows to put the e-mail address that we want as sender, and here too, since the test of sending of mail works, it's verified. For the Time and Date, we use an NTP server. Only the firmware does not respect your advice. I do not have the version in mind, I will tell you later after having recovered. But what disturbs me is that the copier can send an email because the test works, but not the function Scan to mail ??? How is it possible ? Are there any logs in the copier that would allow me to find out where it's stuck?
Hello,
I would like to enable batch scan on the WorkCentre 6515 I have bought and I am confused on how to do so. I have read through the user manual and I cannot find any entries on the subject.
Thanks in advance for the help
Hello, 2 weeks ago I unpacked totally new C405, connected it and tested. Printing went well instead of scanning - every time there was paper jam in ADF, so I opened ADF cover and there was some kind of sticker which was blocking the paper. Also on the sticker there was a foilc handle suggesting to remove it, so I did and then everything worked well, but the sticker left some glue, it seemed strange to me, but was working so no problem. But after two weeks that glue got rubbed and made the paper jam again. I decided to clean that glue, after that ADF was working but taking even 3 pages at once - well, then I put a few layers of insulating tape on it and it works well again, but the question is how long, and in general - what the hell? :) Should I ask for guarantee service?
I'm trying to scan to 0365 using the 0365 app. Whenever I try to login in to my O365 account I get an error passage saying the username and/or password is incorrect. I had verified the username and password is correct and I have tried nultiple accounts.
At the copier , go to Machine Status > Complete Jobs and highlight the job, it will give a fault code.
Changing the router would typically change the Gateway address, but since the CWIS test works and the printer doesn't, the only thing it can be is the authentication, which in no way relates to the router being changed
So the bottom one works and the top one doesn't
Paper typically sticks together due to humidity (multifeeds) the glue would be causing the jamming if it gets on the paper and makes the paper stick to something else.
I don't know where you put insulating tape, but if you make a warranty claim you will want to be very thorough removing any trace of it first.
If what you mean is you want to scan more pages than can be loaded in the adf, you should simply be able to enable Preview on the scan, when it completes whatever is in the adf it will preview it on screen, after the last page is a rectangle with a plus sign, hit that to scan more pages
Unfortunately, in our case, this error is impossible. Indeed, as I said, we use an open internal SMTP server, which does not require identification. In our SMTP configuration, these two settings are set to None. I first thought that the difference was that the test mail is not encrypted / signed while the mail produced by scan to mail is, but the error input printed it is specified that the mail is not encrypted. Moreover, I can not reveal the details of the error as you tell me because I do not have physical access to the copier, it is located in another agency. As for the firmware version, we went from version 061.121.201.09700 to version 061.121.222.06508 and that did not change anything.
Hi,
I am using a Xerox Documate scanner 3125. Under Scan properties -> driver settings, have an option/checkbox “Make Twain UI topmost” to enable which make the twain message box topmost.
Can some please tel me how to enable this programmatically – I am using vbscript to do this. I could not find any registry settings for this.
Your help would be appreciated.
Nope
If you open the top cover of feeder you'll observe on the bottom of the input tray a mylar ramp that goes to a square rubber. This is called the retard pad and is charge of stopping multiple sheets of paper from feeding.
This assembly is spring loaded and may need to be poped off and reseated. If there is no rubber the assembly will need to be replaced as it's function will be lost. You can also try cleaning this rubber pad with water (it can get slick with paper dust.
Hi Gabi
thanks for your reply. It's first time we post here and are happy to be helped.
Yes, we are able tio disassembly, but are very surprised that this issue occurs so suddenly.
Do you mean thta thses parts are out or that they simply need to be reconnected ?
Hello from France !
...more precisely, I don't found the flat cable on this view:
what is the function of part 10, and how can it break down suddenly ?
Thanks Gabi
That part it is the Image Sensor.
The Image Sensor can be removed by:
Remove the ADF.
Remove the Control Panel
Remove the A4 Middle Platen (with glass)
Unplug the ribbon cable from the Contact Image Sensor.
Release the tab and remove the CIS Guide
Slide the Contact Image Sensor out of the CIS bracket as indicated in the illustration
