Guys - don't make things complicated. If you recently changed your password for your email, just type in the IP address of your xerox copier ( you can find it on your machine in machine info) in the address field on the web and go to Properties, Connectivity, Protocols, SMTP Server, and change the password. You must be an administrator to access these properties and have the password for the administrator. We just did it. Our horrible copier service was going to charge us $200 to figure out what was wrong, so we did it ourselves. Easy!

MailChannels
I am trying to configure a WorkCentre 7835 to email routing through MailChannels. I have it configured correctly, I think... When I try to test I get an error that Unable to send test E-mail. SMTP Server address is not available.
Has anyone attempted to use MailChannels before?

Considering it looks for repetitive email and blocks it, and the fact the printer is sending the same email every time and the only thing that changes is the size of the attachment, I would expect it to work once, maybe a few times, and then get blocked anyway.
The Printer sends the same message body, subject line, attachment name and footer on every single email.
Their SMTP settings look pretty straight forward.
But your printer, if it really isn't able to see the server, would have an issue in DNS,Gateway or the time is wrong (Add Proxy if you need one to access the internet)

I do not.
You could just do a Wireshark trace of an attempt and get the full details, if your firmware is on the last few spar levels it would even have it built in via CWIS > Properties > Security > Logs > Network Troubleshooting
Just turn it on, do a scan, stop it and download it and read it to find out where the comm breaks.

Scan to Folder/SMB version on 3335/3345
Hello, one of our copiers is a bit older and will not scan to a shared folder using a higher SMB protocol version. We're looking at a replacement, but it's difficult to find information on which protocol these copiers will accept. We're looking at WorkCentre 3335 and WorkCentre 3345. Will these be able to scan with SMB2/3?

Scanning from 3315
Our network users occassionally need to scan a single page from our Workcentre 3315 printers to our Windows 7 or Windows 10 desktops. We have the printers all working over the network now, I just need to know where I can find the actual scanning software. I do not need a high volume solution. Just something to scan a single page now and then. Thanx!

Have you looked at the drivers page or on the CD that came with it?
The TWAIN driver is what you would want if you want to pull the scan from an app, or the Easy Printer manager if you want to setup scan to a PC from the MFP itself..

Nope. SMBv1 only.
As a support guy:
Stick with what you have and go with FTP instead, which can be enabled free and easily in Windows. Or just set it up to 1 PC and map that folder via SMB to the others.
But if you need to buy a machine to do SMBv2, Xerox has nothing even close to that price range that can from what I can see.

XC560 Scan to email does not work for two users in my organization....
XC560 - Scan to Email
I have two users out of 100 who will not receive scan to email jobs from the Copier/Fiery unit. 98 people have no issue at all.
Performing a message trace in Exchange does not list those scan to emails as ever making it to the server. I have used existing and created new SMTP aliases for these two users and verified they work. I can use sendmail script to create an SMTP message and those same two users get the SMTP mail. All the 100 users are on the same windows domain. Spam and trash folders are fine, and nothing is being blocked via Kaspersky Antivirus, etc.
However they will not received those scans from the Xerox/Fiery.
I do Hope that helps to explain what is going on.

It would have to be something in their email address itself (special character they share that the other 98 don't)
Beyond that you would need to do a Wireshark trace to see what leaves the machine and what happens in comparison to the other 98 users.
There is no simple fix unless the machine is using network logins so that those 2 users's credentials would come into play. Because with that exception, every email uses the same from address, authentication data, email body, subject line and attachment name.
