I've a shared folder at X Server. Users can access to it for sharing documents. When I tried to configured SMB in login name I use the name of the server (ex. SERVER-NAMERWDCCFD) and the password of it. I shows that de user or password are incorrect and delete the job. The shared folder is not in the Local Disk (C:). Does it necessary that the shared folder is in the C: partition?
I tried a test using a local PC, I shared the folder in the C: and the SMB Configuration had the login name as: DOMAIN\USERNAME,
I made a test it was succesfully. Then I tried using the PC Name instead of DOMAIN\USERNAME and the login password and it shows the same error.
My questions are: Should I use the DOMAIN\USERNAME instead of PC NAME to validated? Does it need that the shared folder is in C: Partition?
