I am not sure if this is what will answer your question, but I searched the knowledgebase and found the steps for how to Configure Scan to Home using CWIS. If this doesn't help, I would recommend speaking a Product Specialist at 1-800-821-2797.


Scanning, blank page deletion

Hi, I wanted to know if there is a way to do workflow scanning and automatically delete blank pages? It is a great feature on the 8070s and below, and some of our customers love it, but we have been unable to find this on the 9070.

Hi L3T,

   Here are the answers to your questions.

1. Machine internal folder scanning (mailboxes) are not shared via any protocol that can be mapped. They are accessed by opening Centreware (machine webpage) in a browser and clicking on the Scan tab. Bookmarking the URL for that is the most efficient thing to do for users.

2. Folders that do not have a password are considered public and folders that have a password are considered private. You can view the machines folder policies within Centreware in Properties->Services->Scan to Mailbox->Scan Policies. If you want to create new public folders you have to uncheck the setting "Require password when creating additional folders". Leaving the password field blank when creating a new folder makes one that is public and entering a password during folder creation makes a private folder.

Just received my Xerox 6515DNI today, connected it to my Ethernet network and have downloaded and installed the most current "macOS Print and Scan Driver Installer" to my Mac Pro and MacBook Pro, both running the latest version of Mac OS Mohave (10.14.6).

Going to "System Preference", selecting "Printer & Scanners", selecting WorkCentre 6515, I don't see any mention of scanning; only printer options. Is the scanning software somewhere else? If so, where is it and what is the file name?

hopefully you figured out but I just spent some time with it and you have to open the "Windows Fax and Scan" app to initiate the scan feature to get the documents to your desktop. Not sure how this works on a network ( I am working on a single interface). Ignore the scan apps on the 6515 itself. Put the papers in the ADF, open the app click "new scan" and you are off an running.

how do i get the Workflow Scanning icon on the oprinter screen cant seen to accessit as book says via centreware,

 

this is a new secondhand printer so just got it and it has subscribed only to 4 servise icons

 

maybe i to old to learn new tricks but i be blowed if i can get it up on screen

i trying to scan docs to usb stick

Thanks for your reply, but its not what I was asking. I want the option of "Repeat Image" in Page Layout's menu.
Pages Per Side will only print one scan on paper but I want to print multiple prints on one single paper with one single scan.

Hi,

On the machine CWIS login as admin, then go to Properties>Services>Display and at the Show/Hide tab enable what ever you want.

est il possible d'envoyer des mails depuis la C8030 en format HTML plutot qu'en format texte brut ???

cela pose problème en cas de transfert de mail, car le graphisme de la signature disparait, le logo aussi...

Hi there,
I have got this error for the second time in a few months. The point is: no mis-treating or such for sure.
The Workcentre machine has been standing in a safe place in my home office and has been treated very gently.

I don't remember if it went away just like that or not last time.
The only thing I remember is that maybe I had activated auto-off before.

I dont know about the HTML format but the plane formats works fine for me.. 

You should try it, by reboting the settings.

in outlook, the emails are in HTML, which allows you to send images in the body of the message, or to have a signature with a logo ... on an ALTALINK, the scan to mail only does the plain text format.if you send yourself an email from an altalink to your mailbox, and you forward this email to another person, you lose your logo in the signature, and your email is in plain text ...
If anyone has a solution, I'm interested.

Hi Jonathan,

    You are not missing anything. The PrimeLink product does not have the blank page deletion option when scanning. This question came to me as a question via email today and after thoroughly researching this that is my conclusion. There is an option to suppress blank pages when printing, which can even be permanently enabled in service mode, but no such option when scanning.

To see this feature included in a future software update a Feature Enhancement Request needs to be submitted to Xerox. Your local servicing company can submit that request.

i spent one hour with Xerox customer support dude yesterday, and nothing worked.  there is a download for Catalina version of driver for 3225 but the Mac  does not recognize it.

I have tried to setup the SMPT for our organizations g-suite account - however I keep receiving error 016-503. Not really sure what I am doing wrong. This is my first time setting up SMPT so I'm a little in the dark. 

Any help would be appreciated!

SMTP Settings:

Server:  smtp.office365.com

port: 587 or 25

auth enabled

 

Symptoms:

When using the 'scan to email' function on the device, device throwing error (027-777): Server un-suppports SMTP-AUTH. We cannot find any setting on the printer to enable “TLS/StartTLS” and we cannot use/configure connector on O365 as per company policy.

 

Seeking suggestions.  Thank you.
