we are trying to scan a two-sided document that is 1 file per page. how do we scan front and back and have that be one file? when we select 2-sided it is still separating each page into one file. we need the first two pages to be one file, how do we do this? thank you!

We had a service technician come out to take a look at the machine that was exhibiting the issue. He "reset" the fax card and told me there was an error with the card/board itself. I was also able to update one of the copiers with the new firmware. It's been a couple of days, and nobody has complained about the new firmware, so I'm going to slowly move forward with updating all of the copiers that we have here at our various facilites.

I am not sure if I understand the question fully, but when in an application you can often go FILE > SAVE AS > then select the file type, ie *.PDF to convert a file to a PDF format. You would not need the printer for that. Not sure if your environment supports that function or not.

I have a Xerox B8055 set up and it's connected to our network domain to allow users to sign in to the printer with their network account and scan documents to their email. Each of these users has a network share created and each share is named after their account name. Is it possible to set up a file repository on the Xerox where each user can scan to their own share (without creating a setup for each individual user -we have over 250-)?
For example: if my username is WillC, and my network share is WillC$, is there some way I can set up the repository document path to be something like $LoggedInUser, thus taking the currently logged in user's username (WillC) as the share path?
Edit2: After some more testing I suspect the "Scan to Home" option might be perfect for our needs. Each user account's home folder points to the network share we create for them, so ideally I should be able to turn "Scan to Home" on and be done with it. I can search for a user in the LDAP User Mappings and get a successful result, but for some reason after turning "Scan to Home" on (and "Scan to" on the main display) I can't get an option to scan a document to a home location from the printer.

Replaced my oldest brother in a fax machine with Xerox 3215. I have two separate phone lines and phone numbers (special ringtones) on my second line. We called Xerox twice and spent more than 3 hours with them in total online. If the fax is active, the second phone line (coil line) will also receive the fax. Special ringtone is a short short. We found some guides online, follow them and it still doesn't work. I need both phone lines to act as phone lines and fax to work as fax. ATT was born and they said all their lines were working, getting a new machine from another manufacturer. Printers and scanners work well. I need a fax to work. Very disappointing. HELP!!

We have a new WorkCentre 6025, and trying to configure it to scan to email with an o365 account.
For o365 to work i need STARTTLS authentication, but in the email setup part of this printer there is no such option.
I have some POP options, and some SMTP AUTH options, but o365 does not work with any of them.
Anyone knows how to setup STARTTLS auth for smtp on this device? Is it possible at all?
Our firmware version is 02.00.02.30.3837, which looks very old, but could not find a newer one on the support page.

If I remember correctly, for this device you need to look in the copy output area. Turn the device power off. Go to copy output area of the device and look above. There should be a green sliding latch with a lock icon on it. Slide the latch to the unlock position. Turn the device power back on.

The Xerox 6050 Wide Format Solution is over 15 years old. I am not able to find information on the feature key replacement. Please consider contacting the customer relations desk to see if they have any additional information.

I can scan to Win7 PCs on my local network but not to my Win10 PCs. On the Win10 PCs I have made custom local user accounts and shared folders just for the scanner, I have verified them, made sure SMB services and port 139 are open, I have used CWIS to set up Network Scan addresses in the same fashion as for the Win7 PCs (except using the domain\user format). All attempts to scan to the Win10 PCs result in the error message 031-529 Scan / Login failed. Please help, anyone?
