16-767 means an invalid sending address (the one you are sending from, not that you are sending to)

The fact you are not using SMTP.office365.com:587 with StartTLS and instead using a relay and also not using authentication means one of 2 things is happening on this printer:

1. You have 2 emails as the from address

2. You have not set this device up on the relay server yet/properly

 

So for option 1, confirm you have it as Scan_Xerox@xxxxxx here too

Xerox Only ignores me and Microsoft does not know what is the patch at all...  Xerox has no reason to help US???

Thank you for the reply @Joe053204-xrx.
So, for the 1 point, i have allready configured sending adress: email_settings.jpg

I'm sure that printer configuration must be correctly, because I clone all settings from this printer and installed it on the same model of printer but in diffrent location and it's working fine. It can be possible that there is other uncommon problem with printer? If not - i think like you say - there is can be a problem with relay server configuration, but i don't have permissions to check it out. I asked an admin and they confirm me that external IP adress was allready added to whitelist on relay server and it must working. Now i gonna try to read this article and make sure what i need to do now, because i want to solve this immediately.

OK thanks. That makes sense I guess. I have some basic scan sofware which has an option to split files after a given number of pages pages so I thought this might be an available feature on the MFDs given they are built for bulk processing.

WorkCentre 7220 - Scan from a book, similar to "Book Copying"?

Hi,

On our WC 7220, when you are in "Copy"-mode, "Book Copying" is an available option on the Layout Adjustments-tab. 

But If I choose Email or Workflow scanning-mode, there is no similar option for scanning from a book? I've done this on a much older WorkCentre, so I'm wondering if there is a setting for enabling this?

I don't want to do "Book Copying" first, then scan the printed copies.

Current software version: 073.030.055.33800

It isn't an option on Xerox devices, but it is on Fuji-Xerox devices.

Current Fuji-Xerox devices sold in North America would be all in the VersaLink family, and the C60-C70

 

The following is conjecture, not verified fact:

I'm pretty sure it is a legal thing, for example one North American student can but a textbook for a large amount of money and sell digital copies by scanning it.

Because of the markets they support, Fuji-Xerox doesn't have that particular worry.

When I go to http://192.168.0.100 to configure my printer I can't figure out how to set a default folder.

 

When I try to login via the printer is gives me a Unexpected Communications Error.

Scanning - remove blank pages - ignore hole punches?

Hello, I'm scanning a ton of single-sided printed materials that have been three-hole punched. When I use "Remove Blank Pages" and the scanner sees a blank page with hole-punches it doesn't treat it as a blank page, thus my scanned files contain a ton of 'blank pages' :(. Is there any sort of setting on my 7855 where my machine would ignore the punches? Thanks!

Workflow File Repository Setup

Trying to move the file repository from old server to new server.

Found the Properties, App, Workflow Scanning, File Repository Setup and changed the Default Repository Server IP Address.

But that was not good enought. Xerox deleted the job and gives status: Job deleted, No Message were sent. Login error.

What else needs to be changed?

Since you got a login error the assumption has to be that the username/password has to be recreated on the server and added to the share.

So far so old thread to reply yet I ran into the same issue, and we're running a little real estate company as well. We tried to resolve so by following the instructions from this thread by the book yet it led us almost to nothing, there were always other issues with unproper scaling of docs and so on. Now we have the things switched to online only, including the process of filling and signing

Mixed Size Originals oddity and connect key automatic paper select issues

I have a 5890i and a 7855i both running 2016 73 platform spars . I'm not sure on exact SW level and if a more recent version of SW has fixed the below issues. Both have high cap feeders. 

Setup for trays on both printers:

Tray 18.5x11 LEF, plain, white

Tray 28.5x14 SEF, plain, white

Tray 3,4,68.5x11 LEF, plain, white

Tray 6 is lowest priority

Copy default is Automatic paper selection in all of below senerios. 

1. If I SEF copy a 8.5x11 origional withoutmixed size originals selected(MSO),  the machine is smart and will flip the image and print off tray 6

2. If I SEF a 8.5x11 origional withMSO selected it will print the 8.5x11 onto 8.5x14 from tray 2

3. If same as number 2, but I have programed tray 1 as 8.5x11 SEF it will print on the correct paper size and pull from tray 1.

This means I must always have SEF 8.5x11 in tray 1 when using the mixed size origionals feature else I get 8.5x14 and 8.5x11 SEF originals all coming out on 8.5x14. This defeats the use of a high cap feeder, which cannot be loaded SEF. 

4. If I LEF copy a 8.5x11 (MSO enabled) it will not print from any tray. It will prompt "please load 8x11 LEF in any tray". As soon as MSO is disabled it will pull fine off Tray 6. 

 

Another odity with ConnectKey(including latest spar) with settings of

paper source: automatic paper select

MSO disabled

If I SEF copy 8.5x11 it will say "resources required" ifany tray is programed as "SEF 8.5x11 plain, white" but that tray is currently empty (say bypass). As soon as bypass is programed to say "SEF 8.5x11, cardstock, white" the machine is happy to flip the image and pull off any 8.5x11 LEF plain tray.
