If it is any of the Versalink products you need to disable Dual stack and update the firmware.
If those 2 things don't work then you need to call Xerox and supply themn with a Wireshark of the scan attempt to diagnose it.

Basic question that I can't find an answer to in the documentation. In the configuration menu what does the "quality" modifier mean? For example, what is the difference between "US Letter" and "Quality US Letter"? Is it about the quality of the paper, the quality of the original, the quality of the scan or something else entirely? Thanks!
Hi,
I've got this working on a C405DNW to a share called Scans.
All I want to do now is scan to a sub-folder of the Scans share for each user. So I've put the sub-folder name into the "Document Path" box, but it throws an SMB DOS protocol error 1-005.
So:
Share: Scans
Document Path: <blank>
works
But:
Share: Scans
Document Path: User1
nor:
Share: Scans
Document Path: \User1
doesn't. The folder \\Scans\User1 exists with the correct permissions.
I spoke to Xerox tech support on the phone and they suggested setting up a seprate share for each user, but that sounds really messy and I'd rather use the document path field as that's exactly what I think it's for?
Any suggestions please?
Unshare the User1 folder and try again.
I've seen these things work absolutely fine if you simply create a folder in a share.
I have also seen them fail miserably if you manually share the folder that is in the share.
In most cases, when it fails, it can be made to work via just not using the share (Scans in your case)

That path is just to go deeper in a share, which is what you are doing. But, if you actually are sharing them, there is no reason to actually have Scans at all, it is just another box to fill in that case.
You would have better support asking Nuance. The setting doesn't at all pertain to Xerox.
Hello. Please tell me how to reflash the Xerox WorkCentre 5330? I've tried everything, but the copier does not allow to flash to the latest version. Insert the USB drive with the firmware in the copier include, but nothing happens, there is a normal download. Now is version 53.30.11 want to put a new version 53.33.62
I would be very grateful if you answer in detail. Thanks in advance.
Since I am not to familiar with the make and model I might be completely off.
But have you tried uploading the firmware through the machines webinterface?
Are you running the labels from the bypass tray (Tray 5?)
I always see this happening from the bypass tray. If you run the labels from one of the others (1 to 4) you shouldnt have that problem.
Its because when running them from tray 5, the labels are facing down. The sheets have to make such a sharp turn into the paper path the labels are more likely to come loose.
When running them from another tray, the labels are facing up and are less likely to come loose when being fed into the paper path.
You are correct, it can be done via Web interface (CWIS) via :
Properties > Services > Machine Software > Manual Upgrade
Lord, all I was able to update the firmware to the latest version. Thanks all big.
The software version is 100.001.057.09600 Printer is C8035 AltaLink:
When we add an email recipient from the Centerware interface into the address book it does not populate the address book at the machine. I am able to add an email address entry to the device address book from the control panel at the machine and it does show up in the Centerware interface but not the other way around. Has anyone come across this before??
Could you try a different browser?
I'm using Chrome almost always. And I have encountered some weird problems on a C8035 CWI using Chrome.
Select "Reset All Apps" from the Homescreen to refresh and they'll show.
