Are these issue only with the machines modified with the staples interface (the tablet UI) or have you replicated it on a non-Staples Xerox machine (Any Connectkey device) because it does not appear to do that on any of the Xerox devices I have here when Scan2USB > Searchable > Print From USB
As for emailing a person at Random, I would not expect a response, you would need to contact someone at least in the support lines.
Technically speaking, to get an issue fixed, you would need to call Xerox with the serial number of the printer in question. I know the firmware on the Xerox/Staples devices is not the same as the ones on the Xerox supplied devices, same machine, but different development teams, different support teams too, so if my team for instance fixed the issue you are speaking of on the 7855, that does not mean the Xerox/Staples device would get the fix applied to its firmware unless they (Staples support) requested it to.
