has been a disaster from launch.

If you scan a document to PDF to a USB drive with the option to recognize text (OCR) using the ADF in portrait,  and then try to print  it from USB, it will preview in portrait and then will print 90 degrees rotated - in Landscape.  Still true on March 25, 2018.

TRY IT.

I received a file from a company. Placed it on my USB drive.   Previewed it.  It preview in portrait.  Printed it.  You guess it. It printed  in Landscape.

I can't make them print properly,  The documents print fine behind the counter and at home.

I contacted Staples corporate and was contacted by   Staples store manager.  I then stopped and I worked with another manager and verified the problem exists.  I followed up and he says, all I con do is report it.  I asked how long before it; fixed - The reply was months.

I did email a random person at Xerox - no reply.

Is stuff that works going the way of the dinasour?

You should not get awards for stuff that doesn't work.

I'll make a few more noteworthy comments:

* During the product launch, the non-working options should have been greyed when they are out of service e.g. the FAX box etc.

* It was fun watching people try to hit the cube (fax, email, scan) etc. like playing a video game.  It's better now.

* The HMI still needs some help.

It's nearly impossibe to get someone behind the counter at Staples to scan somthing to PDF so that the text is searchable.

I'm glad I'm no longer in a position of selecting copying products for a University.
