I am also dealing with this issue now.
What is the FTP server running? Native Windows ftp client
What port? 21
FTP or sFTP? FTP
Using IP address or Hostname? I tried both, but now using hostname.
How have you formatted the path on the webui of the printer?
Are you adding leading and trailing slashes ala /Folder one/Folder2/ or no? leading only.
Are you using a login or attempting to do this with Anonymous? Anonymous.
We have users on the same network as the printer not being able to scan to pc starting 2 weeks ago. The users can print and ping the printer, however the printer will not scan to users pc. I created a profile for myself and I am not able to replicate the issue, as it scans to my pc just fine, and I am on the same network, but it wont work for other users. I have verified that their PCs are listening on port 21 and that there are no firewall rules preveting FTP. I have also confirmed that the windows feature for FTP is turned on, yet the printer fails to connect. It states:
Status.............Failed
Unable to connect to remote server
<User name>
<hostname:21>
Please assist, thanks.
