Thanks Joe and Cheryl. I was going to try to edit my original post to state that this was a fresh installation of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on a new SSD drive that caused me the problems above.
The actual upgrade from my existing WIndows 7 Ultimate to WIndows 10 32-bit on my old hard drive went well and I didn't have to reinstall any drivers or have any issues relating to the WorkCentre.
