Re: Workflow Scanning to another Xerox Workcentre Mailbox/Folder

I haven't the slightest idea what is happening with internet Fax. Send one from one to the other, wait 5 minutes and go into the receiving one to Job Status > Completed Jobs and find out what the error is on receive, no matter what is happening, if the job ever got to the device it sill show something there.

As for the repository stuff, Connectkey devices do not play well with internal hostnames unless they are not only on a Domain, but fully registered, which tends to mean they must be DHCP, or you get the following in red, and you will not be able to scan to host name:

Failing that, I don't understand your wording of the last paragraph, it starts saying FTP on port 21, then goes on about Sharing a folder and mapping drives, which is SMB terminology.

So at the PC the share is created click Start and type \\COOR01 and hit the enter key. If a windows explorer window opens showing shared folders and printers including one named Xerox_Scans you have the wrong protocol and port (SMB is port 139 up to WinXP, and 445 for anything newer)

If that fails, click Start and type CMD and hit the enter key

Type ftp COOR01 and click the enter key

Login with identical user/pass as assigned to printer (COOR01\admin)

Once logged in type ls and hit the enter key

If Xerox_Scans does not appear it is an issue with the path and you need to find the folder location relative to the FTP home directory

All in all, if the scan is supposed to be going to Ftp://COOR01/Xerox_Scans change the host to the IP and see what happens.
