Joe,
I've been working to now enable Workflow Scanning and Internet Faxing for the department to use to move documents between the two Xerox Workcentre printers. For the Internet Faxing I have enabled the below settings:
SMTP: setup/configured for our internal SMTP, is linked to Scan to Email funtionality and it is working. Using port 25
POP3: Setup within our Exchange system with it's own email address
General Settings: Configured for each individual printer
Receive Settings: Configured for all attachment types and to accept email without attachment
Security: All users allowed
When we do send an Internet Fax the job is processed and sent, but it is not received on the other Workcentre Printer. Is there something that I am missing with this option? It would seem that I've missed something on the receiving Workcentre.
As for the Workflow Scanning I've set this to utilize a file repository on a local workstation via FTP transfer (port 21). I've created the repository ont the local workstation as a shared drive and given the primary local admin account full security and share permissions to the folder. This has been tested by setting a mapped drive to the folder via the local account information. The document path is listed as the shared folder name, Xerox_Scans, and I've setup the access to the destination via the local admin account with the correct password. When I attempt to complete a scan it errors out as: Login Failure, Check user password, and/or setups. I've gone through the setups multipe times and compaired to the Administrative Guide for setup and I just can't see what I've configured wrong. It seems to be an authentication issue from the Workcentre, do you see anythign that I've misconfigured
