Dear Support,
We have recently purchased a xerox 5855 for our new corporate office. I am the IT Officer and setup the printer on our network.
I am experiencing issues while scanning, there is this streak of line accross the edge of the document that comes from nowhere. This is entirely affecting the buisiness because we cannot scan at all without this line showing up.
I have cleaned the glass, block the lights around the printer (local xerox branch advised), played around every possible settings on the machine. I have red somewhere that the scanner may need calibration, i am sorry but this option is nowhere to be found on the model. The local xerox branch doesnt know what could be the cause and advised to change the whole document feeder. This is not the case because it was the sole purpose why we bought a new printer, was to eliminate the line issue that was aparent on our last printer (5335).
Please advise A.S.A.P anyone, im running out of solutions.
