We're using a WorkCentre 7755 061.090.220.23700.
We'd like to use Scan-To-Email. Our E-Mail Provider is Google Apps.
When entering smtp.gmail.com als SMTP Server and as port either 465 or 587, it doesn't work.
My guess is that there's a configuration option missing to enable SSL/TLS for SMTP.
How do I get that working? Is there a firmware update available?
(Of course, transmitting the login credentials unencrypted via Port 25 is obviously no option. I've found another thread with a smilar problem - http://forum.support.xerox.com/t5/Copying-Faxing-Scanning/workcentre-7530-SMTP-and-SSL-TLS/m-p/15614 - and the person actually solved it's problem by a firmware upgrade).
